Carla Cotterell
Carla has 14 years experience in online sales and marketing, winning accounts and managing international teams across display, search, affiliate, email and ecommerce projects. Prior to joining 1upDigital, Carla spent six years with Advertising.com managing the UK sales operation and later, under AOL Time Warner, creating a new Pan-European sales division. Over the years, Carla has led online media projects for an impressive list of global brands, including: NOKIA, Sony Ericsson, QVC, Qatar Airways, Fox Mobile, Warner Bros and Chevrolet. Before indulging in world of media, Carla spent 18 months at Hampshire County Cricket Club raising £8m for the development of the new Rose Bowl cricket stadium and academy.Ian Howie

Our account management team is run by our CTO and co-Founder, Ian Howie. Ian’s focus includes training, consultancy and directing client projects. He is an approved trainer for the Econsultancy, Utalk Marketing and the IAB. As a former journalist, Ian’s blog is syndicated on Econsultancy and he provides regular thought leadership pieces to a number of on- and off-line publications. Lucy caught the online marketing bug during her six years at Haymarket Media Group where she was a Digital Marketing Manager for brands such as Stuff, Classic FM, Whatcar and Four-Four-Two magazines. During her time at Haymarket, Lucy managed the re-building of their consumer subscription site as well as overseeing search, display and email marketing campaigns. Lucy is an old-timer at 1upDigital and joined the company back in December 2008, when the company was branded 1upSearch. She is naturally inquisitive and commercially astute, and having worked both client and agency-side is able to help clients position themselves correctly to drive sales. With a background in web development, usability, conversion optimization and SEO, gained at companies such as Shell; Carmen has spent the last five years in online gambling working for the following brands: Casino.com, Mansion, William Hill, Stan James, Poker Stars, and VIP Casino. With a BA in Website Management and Design, a minor in Technical Writing, plus the Google Analytics IQ Certification, and fluency in five languages (German, Dutch, Portuguese, Spanish and English); she is a techy to be reckoned with.Oliver McAnulty

Victoria Scott, our Director of Finance, joins us from Deloitte where she spent 5 years working in Technology, Media and Telecommunications Audit Assurance, as well as in Corporate Finance. Victoria has worked with some exciting clients, including the Atomic Weapons Establishment, the Channel Tunnel Rail Link and Alliance Unichem. She’s also a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society and has an MA in book conservation.Jeremy White
Jeremy has over 30 years experience in emerging technologies in Europe and the USA and been involved in over 50 acquisitions and raised more than £100m in development capital for his companies. In the early 90's, based in California, Jeremy was an early user of the internet and in 1995 founded Nettec plc one of the first ecommerce companies in the UK. He took Nettec public on the London Stock Exchange with a market cap of £250m. Jeremy served on the boards of a number of quoted and private companies involved in software development, date storage and security systems. He has worked on numerous government committees and is a past member of the court of governors of Westminster University London and currently serves on the board of Pepperdine University in California. He holds an MBA in International Finance from City University Business School London and an MA from Pepperdine University.
