The Project
Launched in 1999 Wordtracker are the leaders in keyword research.
Wordtracker asked 1upDigital to implement website optimiser experiments to improve performance of conversions from their Free Keyword Tool.
Wordtracker offer a Free Keyword Research Tool to allow people to try out the benefits of keyword research without having to spend any money. They were keen to improve the conversion rate on users of the free tool into paying customers.
We launched a number of experiments testing the various elements on the pages, including some simple changes to the text underneath the keyword results.
The Result
The effect of changing just a one word on this particular experiment caused an uplift of 22% on the overall conversion rate.
